Wander through Elf Wood in Birch Wood and spy the mischievous elves in their houses.
Try the delicious yuletide treats in the sweet shop and bakery in the 1900s town, admire Ravensworth Terrace and its traditional festive decorations.
Be sure to buy that perfect present from the market stalls in the 1900s Pit Village and also discover how the miners and their families celebrated Christmas in Edwardian times, enjoy a warming hot chocolate, and don’t forget to pay our pit ponies a festive visit!
