Monday: Departing from your local area we make our way to the beautiful seaside town of Lytham St Anne’s with time to settle before dinner .
Tuesday: Today we head to Southport, full of shops, cafes, pubs, parks and much more! And if you want to take a break from the town centre, Southport is also surrounded by areas of natural beauty, stunning beaches and scenic views, so you’ll be spoilt for choice!
Wednesday: We head to Haverthwaite where we take a step back in time as we climb aboard our heritage steam train on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway for a nostalgic journey through the picturesque Leven Valley to Lakeside at the southern tip of Lake Windermere. From here we explore the beauty of Lake Windermere on a scenic cruise. We enjoy magnificent views of mountain scenery, secluded bays and many wooded islands as we cruise England’s largest lake. We disembark in Bowness-on-Windermere, a charming enclave on the eastern shores of the lake, where we enjoy free time in this bustling town with its craft and gift shops, lakeside cafés and tea rooms.
Thursday: Armed with your 24h bus & tram ticket your free day to explore has got so many options. From the lively Blackpool to quite charming Lytham. One thing is for sure a good day is guaranteed.
Friday: After a leisurely breakfast we depart for home, comfort stops en route.
